Let's go have some fun...TSRA Race #1

Postby pawatson » Sun Feb 11, 2018 1:49 pm

The track was great yesterday even though we were doing a bunch of tire sqeelin' in practice!!! In the race it was as good as I've ever seen it in the inaugural 4MO race of 2018. All was fine too until Archie talked me into using this Braid Juice called "FIRE STARTER". It works. My body was burning away as we all watched for awlile. Strangely enough, it didn't seem to hurt the car's handling as I had a irregular shaped 'mountain' sticking up on the .005 Red Fox long full ribbed Pantera I raced. I ran 2 motors even though the motor I ran in the 1st round of Qualifying didn't make it back in the car as it was kinda slow...or a 'handler' as we used to say. The 74 1/2 I raced the 1st 3 heats was the victim or Archie's Braid Juice(and running it straight up for about 30 seconds). New Track Record & a good time was had by all...me especially!!! I've been race M5 (.615 Group Hubs w/ the back wall holes opened up) most of last year & this year too as they are light & resilient. I've been using 34's at Bill's & 36's on our track except of Red & White where 34's are better even though they get chewed a little.
