Clarification:
2.C Rear Tires
It's probably been understood as legal but just to confirm: For rear tires, there are no maximum or minimum tire diameters or widths; just make sure the car meets clearance and dimensions stated in Section 2.A.

Update:
4.B Motors
In Pro GTP, the Pro Slot PS-4002 (without the "FK" in the part number) is added as a legal motor. Note January 14: This motor was already in the legal motors list, so this point is not new. Apologies for any confusion.

Clarification:
4.B Motors
In Pro GTP, Koford and Pro Slot Group 12 armatures must display the manufacturer's "X12" or "12" tags. Untagged arms are not allowed.

Update:
3.B Motors
Re: Mid America Eagle (MID 605)… “Eagle” label must remain intact.
February 24: More recent imports of the Eagle motor will have “Eagle, Made in China” engraved on the can; the label will not be required on engraved cans but must remain intact on non-engraved cans.

Update:
4.B Motors
Re: Mid America Eagle and Phoenix motors… the “Eagle” and “Phoenix” labels on those cans must remain intact...
February 24: More recent imports of the Eagle and Phoenix motors will have “Eagle, Made in China” and “Phoenix, Made in China” engraved on the cans; the label will not be required on engraved cans but must remain intact on non-engraved cans.

Clarification, May 4:
4.B Motors

Allowable motors and set-ups…
• Mid-America Phoenix, add part number MID602. The MID602BB (with ball bearings) is specifically disallowed.

(Maybe next year we'll add ball-bearing motors in Pro GTP. But the Phoenix MID602BB is disallowed this year only because we're already past the original start date of the series and people may have bought motors based on the rules as they existed two months ago. And to my limited knowledge, the ball-bearing Phoenix is newer than that. Whatever, it's not legal this year.)

Addition, May 13:
2.A Dimensions and Clearance

• Because front clearance is generally not checked and to prevent likelihood of track damage resulting from their use, cut-down guides are not allowed. Exception: cut-down guides may be used only in Pro GTP and only on chassis where the guide tongue is on the same plane as the rest of the chassis, as is typical on a wing car.

I was encouraged to ban cut-down guides altogether because without adequate spacing on Flexis and the typical GT chassis, cut-downs could allow the front end to scrape and damage the track surface and/or braid. But because Pro GTP chassis selection is pretty wide open, someone, somewhere...especially if we ever race on a King Track...may try to use a wing car chassis in Pro GTP, and use of a standard guide on such a chassis would have the front of the car reaching for the sky, begging for an on-the-spot rules exception. So I made the exception now. However, be aware that every track owner has the right to remove any car from the track at any time if said car's condition is causing--or could cause--damage to his/her track.

Additions, June 29:

3.B Motors
(LMP)
Adding to the list of legal motors:
• JK Hawk Retro (RRRRRRRR and JKM8)
• Mid-America Retro Eagle (MAR606)

4.B Motors (Pro GTP)
Adding to the list of legal motors:
• JK Hawk Retro (RRRRRRRR and JKM8)
• Mid-America Retro Eagle (MAR606)

(PA reported that he's seen a number of premature failures in Hawk 7's from newer batches, and also with the equivalent Mid-America Eagle. The motors above have been legal motors before and are not higher-performing than the Hawk 7 and Eagle, and added in the hope they will be more reliable.)
