Racing at Magnatech February 24 (Saturday): NO ENTRY FEE for Flexi LMP

Don't miss it! In a rare fit of charity, I will pay the entry fee of $5 for everyone who races in the 6 PM Flexi LMP race this Saturday, Feb. 24.

• 6 PM: Flexi LMP (South Texas Scale Racers' rules), followed by
• Group F LMP (4.0 second breakout) *

* Again, Group F LMP is a Magnatech class for:

• wing car chassis with traction magnets
• any motor (but note the breakout time of 4.0)
• Flexi LMP body

Kurt, Oliver, and I raced Group F LMP last Saturday. They both ran brushless motors that were sometimes brutally quick and sometimes problematic. I ran a Ralph Thorne Raptor FK motor and won, but only because they were essentially using the race to troubleshoot their BL motor setups. So, for the very near future the hot setup includes an FK motor of some sort, but once the BL motors are sorted, they are going to be difficult to beat. Come check it out and try it.
