Addition to Appendix B (LMP bodies):

The Red Fox Audi R10 RFSC33C body, which has been legal for just about ever, was dropped from the list probably due to my oversight. It is essentially a mirror-image of the still-legal open-cockpit Red Fox Acura. As of today the Audi R10 is legal.

The PDF rules set has been updated to include this addition.

    Thanks

Update to the Feb 6 post on the Red Fox Audi:

There are also several Red Fox Audis with different part numbers that are described as "ISRA-legal," but essentially the same with some differences in the rear air dam. All are legal.

        Changes to Section 2.A:
        • Change March 13 maximum rear axle track width = 83 mm.
        • Change March 13 maximum chassis/body width = 83 mm (excluding pins/clips).
Reason: Many current tire hubs now have bosses that must be machined/ground by the racer to meet our old maximum-width standard of 3.25 inches. In light of that, ISRA and some other organizations have observed a maximum-width of 83 mm for several years. Effective immediately, our series will also use a maximum width of 83 mm as well.

The PDF rules set has been updated to include these changes.

Let me know if you have a question.

        Thanks

Another Addition to Appendix B (LMP Bodies)

At the request of a couple of local racers, the new Mid-America J-I 984 Porsche 919 is legal, effective immediately.

The PDF rules set will be updated at some point in the future to include this addition.

The Kelly Eagle LMP body was to be illegal after Race 3 (Pflugerville) due to scarcity and difficulty for tracks owners to order. However, Jim has been able to find it fairly easily and now has some in stock.

Given that, the Kelly Eagle LMP (KE1852A) is reinstated as legal through 2023.
