Here are results from Race 1 on October 21. Kurt had us covered easily, but the car developed a real handling mystery that relegated him to second place. Lance raced the Magnatech "house" brushless-motored LMP car. That thing is fast (though not eligible for points)!

For what it's worth, Kurt also owned the non-points Indy Car opener, but his bound-up motor got soldering-iron hot and slowed way down dropping him down the order.

And it's early but here are points standings after Race 1:

I was on vacation last Saturday, and everyone else was somewhere else with the exception of Hayward...who gets the October 28th winner's points and leaps to the top spot in the standings.

The Fall series needs some support!

Another small group Saturday. Here are the results of the GTR/NASCAR points race. The fault is with my camera/photography, not your eyes:

Jim was a no-show Saturday (at a wedding somewhere), but so were all of the racers except for Howard and me. Cliff was running the shop for Jim, but we elected to skip the GTP points race and split first- and second-place points, thus the odd entries of "27.5" in the updated standings below. We also added .5 of a win in the tie-breaker column

We did run four four-minute heats of non-breakout Indy cars using the Stage 2 motor that Jim has suggested we use as a potential required motor for Indy cars. That gave us time to tweak set-ups, and we eventually got lap times down to respectability. The real good news is that our Stage 2's didn't overheat like Kurt's did a few weeks ago. Looking good so far.

So, here are the updated points:

John Myers was back in the house Saturday! Where he is, Gwen probably is, too, and I'm really sorry to have missed seeing them both. Next time, I hope.

Kurt won this one, with Hayward and John in P2 and P3:

Points standings are as follows. Looks like Hayward has to walk in the door on December 2 to lock up the Fall title. I'm definitely planning to be there to put up some token resistance and hope that we have a good number of racers.

John and James are actually tied for 4th place at 25 points each, with John ahead on the Total Laps tiebreaker.
                Here's the corrected version:

We had four racers Saturday, welcoming Oliver back after some weeks away. Kurt had the best car, and also drove the best, and won by a comfortable six-lap margin.

Hayward missed only one race, and took the Fall Series points title. The rest of us missed two or more races and had to eat some zeroes.
